The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) is Scotland’s premier national venue for public events, concerts and conferences. Since opening in 1985, the venue has hosted 3,889 events and welcomed over 28 million visitors. To view instructions on how to get to the SECC, please see below:

Car

Situated just off Junction 19 of the M8 motorway, the SECC is within five minutes drive of the city centre and 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport. From the M8, take the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814), exit at ‘SECC West’ sliproad to access car parking facilities for over 2000 cars. The rate for this is £6 per vehicle, per visit. Payment is taken on exit on a cash-only basis. Click here to download an easy-to-print location map in .pdf format.

Train

Exhibition Centre Station is the SECC’s own dedicated railway station, allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Central Station (Platform 17 is on the lower level) will take you to Exhibition Centre Station in just three minutes.
