Important Event Announcement – October 2021

Procurex Scotland

SEC, Glasgow

For many months we have been encouraged by an increasing appetite amongst our event participants and partners to return to in-person live events. Therefore, as the all-important Procurex Scotland event date of 23 November draws closer, we, in collaboration with Scottish Government, felt that this was the   appropriate time to consider the overall situation.

Current guidance issued by Scottish Government to Scotland’s public sector encourages working from home as standard protocol with limitations on attending live events. Therefore, taking this into account we have taken the decision with our event partner Scottish Government to postpone Procurex Scotland, the Scottish Government 17th National and GO Awards Scotland until Thursday 3 March 2022.

By moving the event to March 2022 this allows a further easing of restrictions across public sector, to enable attendees to participate live in venue which is not currently possible according to current regulations.

Whilst we understand this change of date might be disappointing, we are wholly committed to ensuring that Procurex Scotland meets the level of expectation of all involved and continues to deliver the benefits that have been associated with the event over the years.

If you are a confirmed participant at Procurex Scotland or Scottish Government 17th National Procurement Conference, no further action is required on your part at this stage. All your booking details will automatically transfer to the revised March 2022 event date.

We are heading in the right direction and I hope you will agree that while this postponement may be disappointing, this is the right decision to ensure that we maximise event participation and benefit to Scotland’s entire public procurement marketplace.

On behalf of BiP Solutions I look forward to your participation at Procurex Scotland on Thursday 3 March 2022.

Best regards,
